SBI is the largest public sector bank in India, conducting PO exam on 28-04-2013.To appear this exam,candidates must download their hall tickets from 08th of April 2013.SBI PO question paper 2013 will consist of objective & descriptive papers in Hindi and English.The SBI probationary officer exam pattern and syllabus is different from the IBPS PO exam 2013.English Language,High level Reasoning,Data Analysis & Interpretation,General Awareness, Marketing and Computers ,these are the topics included as syllabus for SBI PO Exam.

SBI PO Syllabus for Descptive & objective paper listed below with questions and time.


Paper I:(Objective test):200 marks.

1. Test of English Language ( Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
2. Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
3. Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
4. Test of Reasoning (High Level)


Paper II (Descriptive Test ):50 marks

The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration will be of “Test of English Language (comprehension, short prĂ©cis, letter writing & essay)”.The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to bedecided by the Bank.
The SBI Clerk syllabus also contains common sections,but the level of question paper difficulty varies.SBI PO question paper is very difficult to compare with Clerk exam paper.The Syllabus for clerk exam is General Awareness,Quantitative Aptitude,Reasoning Ability,General English and Marketing/Computer Knowledge.

SBI PO Recruitment 2013 begins: Apply Online


The aspirants who want to apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2013 can apply online as the process of submitting online application has started on 30th January 2013.
The leading bank of public sector SBI has advertised for the recruitment of 1500 Probationary Officers PO. Previously State Bank of India ha d detail notification and advertisement regarding the State Bank of India PO recruitment.

Eligibility for SBI PO:
Educational Qualification for SBI PO examination:
For SBI PO recruitment 2013 the candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent degree recognized by the central government.
Age Limit to apply for SBI PO examination 2013:
The candidate should be aged not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.01.2013. In other words; the candidate should be born not earlier than 02.01.1983 and not later than 01.01.1992 (both dates included).
Relaxation in age is applicable as per government rules.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process of SBI PO recruitment 2013 consists of two phases.
First Phase:
The first phase of SBI PO recruitment exam 2013 consists of a written test of 250 marks that carries objective test of 200 marks and descriptive test of 50 marks.
Second Phase:
Second phase of State Bank of India Probationary Officer recruitment consists of Group Discussion (GD) of 20 marks and interview of 30 marks.
The final merit list will be based on aggregate performance of both the phases.

General category and others: Rs. 200/- (App. fee including intimation charges)
SC / ST / PWD: Rs. 50/- (Intimation Charges only)

A. JOB PROFILE:
The CEA will be responsible for leading a team at Economic Research Department (ERD) at the Bank's Corporate Centre, Mumbai. The official will be the key resource person providing strategic inputs on various National and Global economic developments to the Top Management of the Bank and will also be required to contribute to formulation of strategy and policy.
